A Prayer For Lost Soldiers

Today I make a prayer for the young soldiers found in Youssifiyah, which is in Iraq. Identification of the soldiers has been difficult since they were tortured and mutilated. The names of the lost soldiers are Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore. My prayers are with their families, friends, and loved ones. These young men died much to soon and in a horrible way.

Let the perpetrators of these crimes be warned - the wrath of the lord will come down upon all that take part in evil such as this. This goes for soldiers on both sides of the conflict. Let our prayers go out to all victims in this bloody conflict.

May the world's leaders fall on bloody knees and stop the never-ending violence. The lord cries at the loss of life and the suffering of innocent men, women, and children. Jesus Christ sees the pain and agony brought upon the innocent by earthly powers. Jesus Christ and his father who art in heaven, watch over us and tally this carnage. Judgement Day will be upon us all and deeds of such will not be forgotten in the house of the lord.

I pray today that all hearts filled with hatred, will be saved by the light of the lord. I pray that all religions learn to except their differences. I pray that all humans wake up to what is going on in our world, and vote out leaders that insist on leaping towards violent means. I pray for the families of all soldiers lost in the past, present, and future.

I pray that the lord god sends us leaders that truly know how to lead, and not be dictated to by their war bound associates. May Jesus Christ send us the young men and women who can drive out violent and reactive leaders.

A Prayer For Addicts

Today's prayer goes to all of the addicts in the world. May all people suffering from an addiction be cast out from their pain. May their opportunity to continue their quest for drugs or alcohol stop. May they suffer hard and fast, but not be killed or harmed, so that they can see the light of the lord.

I pray today that all people in our world can overcome their horrible and life threatening addictions. I pray that the people that love then will give them that last chance they need to finally clean up their lives forever. I pray that the collateral victims of alcoholics and drug addiction, are held safe in the hands of Jesus Christ. Let the addict's bottle break, their syringes dry up, their pipes be crushed, their will to destroy themselves and those around them cease.

I pray this day forward that the awareness surrounding all addictions is heightened to the level that all children of earth learn to love Jesus and his father, and learn to despise drugs and alcohol.

A Prayer For Our Children

Today's prayer is for our children. Let us bow our heads in prayer for every child on this earth. May our children be safe and secure in their environment, without the worries of the adult world. May they be protected from violence and have love showered upon them from at least on kind soul.

I pray that their elders and parents come together in peace so that no child is lost in the cross-fire. May Jesus Christ protect our innocent children from the darkness found in many corners of the globe, and hold them in his loving embrace. May the governments and powers in all lands give due priority to the children who need food, clothing, shelter, love, attention, guidance, and education.

May the children in our lives be blessed with the knowledge of Jesus Christ and his father who art thou in heaven. As lost and wretched souls commence in their pursuit on darkness, may the hand of the lord pluck our children from their grasp. God praise our children and let them live and grow under blue skies. Let our children laugh, play, and rejoice in their youth.
