A Prayer For Lost Soldiers

Today I make a prayer for the young soldiers found in Youssifiyah, which is in Iraq. Identification of the soldiers has been difficult since they were tortured and mutilated. The names of the lost soldiers are Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore. My prayers are with their families, friends, and loved ones. These young men died much to soon and in a horrible way.

Let the perpetrators of these crimes be warned - the wrath of the lord will come down upon all that take part in evil such as this. This goes for soldiers on both sides of the conflict. Let our prayers go out to all victims in this bloody conflict.

May the world's leaders fall on bloody knees and stop the never-ending violence. The lord cries at the loss of life and the suffering of innocent men, women, and children. Jesus Christ sees the pain and agony brought upon the innocent by earthly powers. Jesus Christ and his father who art in heaven, watch over us and tally this carnage. Judgement Day will be upon us all and deeds of such will not be forgotten in the house of the lord.

I pray today that all hearts filled with hatred, will be saved by the light of the lord. I pray that all religions learn to except their differences. I pray that all humans wake up to what is going on in our world, and vote out leaders that insist on leaping towards violent means. I pray for the families of all soldiers lost in the past, present, and future.

I pray that the lord god sends us leaders that truly know how to lead, and not be dictated to by their war bound associates. May Jesus Christ send us the young men and women who can drive out violent and reactive leaders.
